A 30-year-old Queensland man has died from COVID-19, bringing the state’s virus death toll to seven. The 30-year-old, from Blackwater in Queensland’s Central Highlands Region, was not diagnosed or treated for the virus before his death. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the man’s partner was sick with COVID-19 symptoms and was receiving treatment at the Rockhampton hospital. Fever clinics are being established at Blackwater and Emerald and all residents with flu-like symptoms have been told to get tested for the virus immediately. Contact tracing is underway.
