New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian says NRL fans will not be permitted to return to stadiums by the weekend despite a push from her deputy John Barilaro. Mr Barilaro said it was "hypocrisy at its best" to allow up to 20,000 people to attend a Black Lives Matter protest, and called for consistency in messaging in terms of what is approved and what is not. Meanwhile, NSW Sports Minister Geoff Lee confirmed all community sport would return to the state from July 1. "It's game on for the whole community," he said. From July 1, all restrictions on numbers attending training and games will be lifted but it remains unclear as to rules governing supporter attendance on the sidelines. Image: News Corp Australia
