Aus considers safe haven visa for Hong Kong nationals

The federal cabinet is expected to announce its response to China’s sweeping new national security laws imposed on Hong Kong 10 days ago. Under new legislation being considered, Hong Kong residents could be arrested for criticising the communist regime, with some protestors already charged for carrying pro-independence flags and signs.
