Large Crowds Congest Arizona Airport Ahead of Holidays

A packed crowd was spotted at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona on Saturday, December 19, as seen in footage taken on that day. As of Saturday, the Arizona Department of Health Services reported a total of 7,937 COVID-19 deaths in the state and 118 new deaths on that day alone. There were no travel restrictions for individuals traveling to or through Arizona, according to the state’s Office of Tourism.
