The Cronies Sports Grill was packed in Agoura Hills, California, on December 7, with reportedly dozens protesting the COVID-19 indoor ban. “Cronies Agoura Hills will be open 8 am to 10 pm daily with outdoor seating,” the bar wrote on Facebook. “Continuing to follow all of the safety protocols and highest health and safety standards.” Los Angeles County had banned indoor dining on November 25, citing the increasing spread of COVID-19. As of December 8, the County had reported a total of 457,880 cases of COVID-19 and 7,936 deaths. Footage taken by Greg Toohey shows the sports bar surrounded by demonstrators. “Local watering hole down the street in Agoura Hills protesting the outdoor dining ban,” wrote Toohey on his Twitter post. “Owner won’t close up shop. LA news trucks all over it.” Credit: Greg Toohey via Storyful
