Ghislaine Maxwell pleads not guilty to charges

British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking in her first court appearance since her arrest last July. She is facing eight counts including, trafficking, conspiracy, and incitement of a minor to engage in illicit sex acts with the additional charge for sex trafficking of a minor being added last month. Prosecutors have accused her of helping Jeffery Epstein to groom and sexually abuse girls. Her trial is scheduled to begin on the 12th of July.
