Poll: Britons prefer Prince William as next king over Charles

A new opinion poll has found Prince William is the preferred next monarch when Queen Elizabeth’s reign ends. The Duke of Cambridge holds a 20 point lead over his father Prince Charles. Prince Harry was most favoured as the next in line by participants aged between 18 and 24 years old, while half of those surveyed believed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have damaged the reputation of the monarchy.
