A returned overseas traveller in Western Australian hotel quarantine has tested positive to the Brazilian strain of COVID-19. This marks the third case of the highly infectious variant recorded in Australia and Premier Mark McGowan has told reporters the person has recovered. Western Australia recorded two new cases of COVID-19, a man aged in his 50s and an 11 month old boy and both are in hotel quarantine.
