UK health secretary resigns after breaching his own COVID rules

The United Kingdom's Health Secretary Matt Hancock has resigned from his position after images leaked of him kissing and embracing his aide - in breach of his own social distancing rules. The photographs with Gina Coladangelo were taken one week before COVID restrictions were eased in the United Kingdom. Mr Hancock wrote a letter of resignation to Prime Minister Boris Johnson saying he owes it to the nation to be honest and Mr Johnson said he was sorry to receive it. He will be replaced by Sajid Javid who is the UK's former chancellor.
