Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Premier Daniel Andrews have struck a late night deal to provide financial support to workers affected by the state’s lockdown. Residents will be given $600 if they lose more than 20 hours of work while those who lose between eight and 20 hours will receive $375. The disaster relief will be available from day one despite the stay at home measures lasting less than seven days.
