Roads Flood as Thunderstorms Impact Amarillo, Texas

Flooding hit parts of Amarillo, Texas, on July 7, prompting some road closures. The National Weather Service (NWS) said thunderstorms were expected to bring heavy rain and lightning to the area into the afternoon.
