Switzer Report founder Peter Switzer says he does not believe Service NSW can handle the level of demand for business assistance which has been brought on by lockdowns. “There’s a lot of complaints coming from businesses in New South Wales,” Mr Switzer told Sky News Australia. “Only one third of the money earmarked for assistance has actually been paid out. “I don’t think Service NSW can actually handle the amount of demand for assistance that’s needed and that’s the problem. “A lot of businesses are even complaining about the fact their relationship with landlords and the leasing arrangements are nothing like it was last year when JobKeeper was in and all those big reforms were put in place. “And the reason is I think NSW didn’t think this would last so long and therefore they weren’t as, you know, right behind it.”
