The National Weather Service (NWS) warned southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois residents of strong thunderstorms with the possibility of lightning and large hail on Tuesday, September 7. Footage shared on Twitter captured loud hailstones hitting a vehicle in Paw Paw, Liani Jasmine told Storyful. According to the NWS, parts of Lee County reported hail as large as golf-ball-size.
