A woman from western Sydney has died from COVID-19 – becoming the 199th person in New South Wales to die from the virus. Paramedics were called to a house in Rooty Hill around 4 pm yesterday after reports a woman in her 40s was in cardiac arrest. She was declared dead upon arrival – authorities say she had tested positive. It comes on the deadliest day of the pandemic in NSW after 12 new deaths were recorded.
