A family of a deceased man is suing his former business partner in a lawsuit for control of assets amounting to 1 million bitcoins – which is around $87 billion. Sky News Australia discussed the issue with Founder of the Switzer Report Peter Switzer. "It's been long believed that the creator of Bitcoin was someone called Satoshi Nakamoto – now we all knew it was a dodgy made-up name, a pseudonym if you like," Mr Switzer told Sky News Australia. "But apparently this Florida court case is going to hear that Satoshi Nakamoto actually was a partnership – and one of the partners has died and his family are suing for half the fortune of their business relationship." "The court may force them to actually name who were the people involved in creating Bitcoin – it's a big story."
