Fairbanks Residents Treated to Dazzling Northern Lights Show

Residents of Fairbanks, Alaska, were treated to a dazzling nighttime light show on the evening of November 3, as the aurora borealis became more visible at northern latitudes. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a geomagnetic storm watch for Wednesday and Thursday, following coronal mass ejections recorded on November 1 and 2.
