Overturned Car Blocks Street in Brooklyn

New York police and firefighters responded to an overturned vehicle on Empire Boulevard in Brooklyn, New York, on July 12. A local news report said it was not yet known how the vehicle flipped onto its side. The report indicated a female driver was its sole occupant. No injuries were reported. Video from the scene obtained by CrownHeights.info shows FDNY firefighters helping a woman exit the vehicle through the sunroof. The NYPD had no comment at the time of writing. Video filmed by local resident Sarah Otis shows traffic backed up near the intersection of Empire Boulevard and Nostrand Avenue as an NYPD tow truck prepares to right the vehicle.
